Jim has utilized his microbiology background to be a huge advocate in the infection control world. Jim has been fortunate to be able to use his microbiology knowledge and acting skills to become a very effective speaker. His presentations are informative, conversational, humorous and in demand. Jim has spoken throughout Canada and the US, and also been invited to speak in the United Kingdom, Malta, France, Germany, New Zealand, Croatia and Hong Kong. He is married and has two children. Jim hopes to get back on stage once he retires from front line infection control educating. He also practices Qi Gong, an Eastern alternative medicine theory utilizing energy fields.
